A personal note from Patrick, Pete, & Noah
Hey everyone!
Patrick here, joined by Pete & Noah (more on them in a bit).
We're thrilled to announce some seriously exciting news today.
HAL is being ACQUIRED by The Neuron.
Translation: you’re about to transform from AI beginner to AI power user.
Now super excited to pass it to Pete and Noah to explain what The Neuron is all about:
Yes—we’re actual humans…not ghostwriters with a ChatGPT subscription.
Our mission is simple: teach you how to use AI to get sh*t done.
And we’ll make it feel like we’re right there chatting with you—zero fluff.
The only fluff you’ll see around here is our adorable cats!
That’s why 300,000+ leading professionals read The Neuron every single day.
Like, check out our epic roast of Bard or 3 insane ChatGPT-4v use cases.
seriously, we’ll wait…
Now here’s what to expect:

*Thanks for reading this far! As a treat, we’re sharing an excerpt from The Neuron today so you get a sense of how we do things…
AI could become a lot more real on Apple’s Vision Pro.
We need to talk about THE Apple Vision Pro.
Yes, we know the metaverse was so 2022, and our focus is AI, but gosh darn, if this isn’t the most mind-blowing tech we’ve ever seen (since ChatGPT, of course).
(If you haven’t seen what it can do, we recommend this review by the GOAT). ↓
If you believe Vision Pros are the future (we do) and AI is the future (we do), then it’s worth thinking about what AI will look like inside Vision Pros.
For starters, the tech powering Vision Pros shares some common ground with the advanced machine-learning techniques that underpin many AI innovations.
Many AI apps you know and love are already available on Vision Pros; You’ll find that they’re much more immersive (or augmented) compared to using them on traditional devices.
For instance, this is what using Adobe Firefly looks like:
And here’s what it looks like using Replit on the moon, Navi’s real-time captioning, creating with Glowbom’s draw-to-code tool, and, of course, using Perplexity.
Looking ahead, we see AI becoming a central piece of virtual work applications in Vision Pro. For example, helping with:
Feedback on presentations.
Real-time meeting translations.
Displaying crucial info, files, or data through holographic overlays.
Our 2nd prediction? An explosion in AI companions/avatars.
People are already addicted to talking with characters on Character AI…imagine what happens when these characters evolve into hyperrealistic holograms (or deepfakes) that consume their entire line of sight.
The positive spin on this is something like 3D avatars for emotional support (Cedars-Sinai is building this).
The negative spin is some sort of illusory “social” experience that’s 100x more addicting than TikTop, pushing us into a dystopian Ready Player One scenario, like this hilarious Simpsons clip:
